The Corflex Ventral Cubital Tunnel Splint is a specialized orthotic device designed to provide targeted support and immobilization to the elbow, particularly in cases of cubital tunnel syndrome. Cubital tunnel syndrome occurs when the ulnar nerve, which runs along the inner side of the elbow, becomes compressed or irritated.
This splint helps to alleviate symptoms such as numbness, tingling, and pain in the forearm, hand, and fingers by keeping the elbow in a slightly extended position, which reduces pressure on the ulnar nerve.
The Corflex Ventral Cubital Tunnel Splint is commonly used for conservative management of cubital tunnel syndrome, post-operative care, and injury prevention, providing comfort and promoting healing during recovery.
