Cold Therapy Systems

Cold therapy systems are designed to aid in recovery following an injury or after surgery.  They help reduce discomfort and inflammation.  Cryotherapy differs from ice packs and wraps by utilizing ice cold water that continuously flows through the injured area, maintaining a constant temperature for an extended period of time (up to 12 hours).  Some units also have a compression component that has been shown to be more effective in recovery than cold therapy alone.
These units are excellent to use after surgery such as a knee replacement, hip replacement or any surgery that requires cold therapy to reduce swelling and decrease pain.
