Ossur Cold Rush Cold Therapy Pads

The Ossur Cold Rush Pad offer continuous cold therapy to different regions of the body, including the ankle, shoulder, hand, back, or knee. Ossur’s Cold Rush Pads are designed to be used with the Ossur Cold Rush Cold Device, which is sold separately.

The Cold Rush Pads have a unique and unbroken loop covering on them that enables them to be used without the need for foam wraps or any other additional products. Simple elastic straps can be used to make sure that the therapy pads stay in place for a patient. These pads can be used under bracing systems used after an operation.

Keep in mind, Ossur designed these Cold Rush Pads for single surgery-use only.  There is also a need to utilize an insulation barrier between the pad itself and the skin.  The insulation barrier is not included in the product. Alternatively, patients can utilize towels or socks with the end cut off as effective insulation barriers between the skin and the Cold Rush Therapy Pads.

Cold Rush Pads come in different dimensions, based on the part of the body they are meant to be used for, as well as a universal shape and a rectangular shape.

The Ossur Cold Rush Pads are designed to deliver continuous cold therapy to the hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, back or hand. The unique, unbroken loop covering on the top portion of the Ossur Cold Rush Pads allows for use without foam wraps. Simply use the elastic straps to secure the Cold Rush in place. The patient can utilize the pad under post-operative bracing systems. Ossur Cold Rush Pads are intended for single surgery use. Insulation barrier (not included) is required to go between skin and pad – alternative options are a towel or sock with the end cut off.

The small shoulder pad is ideal for petite person with smaller frame. The large shoulder pad is ideal for an average-stout person with a larger frame. We recommend the large if you’re unsure, as it will cover more area.

You can use the rectangular pad for a smaller / medium sized wrist or hand or a Lumbar pad for a larger wrist or hand.
