These exercises are some of the latest exercises physiotherapists and other health professionals recommend when patients have lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow).
A study was done in Clinical Rehabilitation in 2014 by Cullinane F. et al1 looking into the effectiveness of eccentric exercises for the treatment of lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow). They did a systematic review of 12 studies that looked into this, and concluded that eccentric exercises as part of a multimodal therapy programme were effective in improving outcomes in patients with lateral epicondylitis.

Below, there are 2 sets of exercises you can download, Level 1 and Level 2. level 1 exercises are designed for the acute phase of the injury (within a few weeks). after a few weeks, you may be able to start the level 2 set of exercises. If the level 2 exercises cause long lasting pain that does not subside by the next day, focus on level 1 exercises for another week and then try again the Level 2 exercises.
