The OPTP Maternity SI-LOC Sacroiliac belt offers support to the SI joint for greater comfort during and after pregnancy.
Relieving common SI joint, low back and hip pain during pregnancy and postpartum, the Maternity SI-LOC® Support Belt offers comfortable compression and relief without unnecessary bulk. Constructed of lightweight, breathable material, it conceals under clothing but firmly supports the pelvic structures. Features a “no buckle” design and includes detachable pad for extra support.
The OPTP Maternity SI-LOC Support Belt effectively relieves common SI joint, low back and hip pain during pregnancy, and helps support the pelvis after childbirth. Pelvic joints and ligaments naturally shift and stretch during late pregnancy, and can cause discomfort and even severe back, hip and sciatic leg pain. This maternity sacroiliac belt provides support for pelvic structures and eases pain and discomfort, while providing necessary postpartum support and pain relief as the body returns to normal alignment.
The Maternity SI-LOC Support Belt’s patented design offers comfortable compression and relief without the unnecessary bulk of other maternity belts. It features an innovative, lightweight and breathable fabric in an exclusive, non-bulky design that conceals easily under clothing. Tapered, medical-grade non-slip pads are wider at the innominates for even pressure distribution, and an easily adjustable, ‘no buckle’ design allows greater comfort. The belt also includes detachable abdominal pad to provide extra support and comfort as needed.

Made a difference with my SPD pain. It took some time for me to figure out how to put it on though. Clear instructions will be helpful. Great product and works great. I wear it everyday and it takes my pain away.

Alleviated pain & pelvic instability
The SI-LOC support belt has allowed me to continue functioning at work & home without using any pain meds. This is my fourth pregnancy & my pelvic instability was getting debilitating. I had used the SI-LOC with great results with my past pregnancies- unfortunately I had given mine away. So I purchased one again. As a former women’s health PT and an experienced pregnant mom- It is a must have for pregnant women experiencing pelvic instability & pain.

Makes my pregnancies bearable and keeps me active
I have pronounced hypermobility, so in spite of targeted strength training prior to both my pregnancies, I have needed this belt to get through the third trimester comfortably. For my first pregnancy, I was undiagnosed until terrible pain put me at risk of bed rest, as I lived in NYC and was commuting via subway (i.e. stairs up and down, prolonged standing) in addition to my desk job (i.e. prolonged sitting). A few weeks of targeted PT combined with belt wear during the day got me back to being comfortable for the remainder of my first pregnancy. The SI joint pain went away as soon as I delivered. Five years later, I’m in the third tri and have started wearing it again. Not only has the belt not degraded after five years in storage (which is more than I can say about a lot of my maternity clothes where the fibers of the over-the-belly panel did), it relieved the discomfort I started having from SPD immediately. I know this belt isn’t specifically indicated for SPD, but this time around my pain was manifesting more in the front pelvic area rather than the SI/hip area, but I could tell from the discomfort I had in turning in bed at night that it was related. So far, so good. Per my PT’s rec, I do not wear the belt while exercising or sleeping, but do wear it the rest of the day. If the pain starts coming during exercise or sleep, then I will wear it as needed. Best $30-odd dollars I’ve spent on preggo gear!

It made standing tolerable.
I’m on my feet for 8 hrs, 5 days a week. I couldn’t stand for longer than 10 minutes at a times. With my belt, I am able to stand longer and walk comfortably. But having braxton hicks, I do find the belt at times uncomfortable to wear because of my contractions. Overall, I am very happy with my belt.
