The MKO CMC thumb brace stabilizes the Carpometacarpal (CMC/Basal) joint of the thumb and places the first metacarpal in its functional position. It places the thumb in an anatomically correct position and enables the other fingers to move properly, ensuring the functionality of the hand. The design with double injection of materials and the rounded edges guarantee maximum comfort of use. It has a fastening system, secured by a metal core, that enables the degree of stability of the trapeziometacarpal joint to be adjusted as required.

Returned items must be in excellent and/or unused condition for full product credit. Use extra caution when packing for returns to avoid damage. Law labels and identification labels must remain on all products for credit. Credit cannot be issued for products with markings, stickers or torn pages. If the original packaging or instructions are missing or damaged, or if the items are not in ‘like new’ condition, packed in a secondary box, a restocking fee of 25% will be deducted from your refund.

The closing system features a velour strap, with hook and loop closure.

This brace is great. It allows for A bit of movement while securing the joint for everyday wear. It fits to the sizing guide. The extra straps are handy, although I washed one set by hand and the material separated from the Velcro. A thicker material strap would be better.

It was recommended by my surgeon to wear this type of brace. This brace has been a game changer. It did take a day or two to get use to wearing, but now I forget I have it on. It allows me to continue to work with my hand while at the same time easing some of the pain due to arthritis. This is the 2nd one I have ordered. I like the idea of having a spare that I keep in my yoga bag.
