Bill Landry, BScPT, BScH, CAFCI, ACPAC
Bill Landry is the CEO of The Physio Store and a Registered Physiotherapist in Ontario, Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto (1998) and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Life Sciences from Queen’s University (1994), where he also played goalie for the Queen’s Golden Gaels.
From a young age, Bill was interested in computer hardware and software design, developing software and database management systems during high school and university for companies like Honeywell Ltd., Consumers Gas, Ontario Hydro, and Honda.
After graduating in 1998, Bill opened Mapleview Family Physiotherapy Centre in Barrie, Ontario, and later established the Family Physiotherapy Centre of London in 2003. His aim was to offer high-quality, personalized physiotherapy care for all ages. By 2013, he expanded with another clinic in North London, Ontario, and launched Oasis Massage Therapy.
In 2015, Bill founded The Physio Store, an online retail platform for healthcare products designed from a physiotherapist’s perspective. This store serves as both a medical supply store and a patient engagement platform.
Bill has 25+ years of experience in private practice, treating a wide range of patients from infants to the elderly. He has expertise in managing conditions such as torticollis in babies, orthopedic injuries in children and adults, work-related injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation for knee and hip replacements.
Bill completed a year-long advanced clinical program in arthritis care at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine, St. Michael’s Hospital, and The Hospital for Sick Children. In 2018, he earned the title of Advanced Clinician Practitioner in Arthritis Care (ACPAC). This unique post-licensure program equips experienced physiotherapists with advanced knowledge and skills for diagnosing and managing arthritis.
Specializing in men’s health, particularly urinary incontinence post-radical prostatectomy, Bill has worked with urologists since 2009. He developed a unique pelvic floor rehabilitation program that replaces traditional Kegel exercises and utilizes real-time ultrasound for assessment and treatment. He also created a 24-hour pad test kit to help men regain continence faster and has written articles on the topic. Bill is an active member of the International Continence Society (ICS).
Bill is certified in Acupuncture (CAFCI) from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (2001) and completed an advanced clinical program in arthritis care at the University of Toronto, earning the title of Advanced Clinician Practitioner in Arthritis Care (ACPAC) in 2018.
