Intelli-Flo Pads and Sterile Dressings for the Polar Care Kodiak
The Intelli-flo pads offer hassle-free temperature regulation specific to each treatment area, allowing for consistent cold delivery. The ergonomic design provides exceptional coverage, static compression, and patient comfort.
Warning: An insulation barrier must be applied between the Intelli-Flo Pads and the patient’s skin. The Intelli-Flo Polar Pad can be cold enough to cause serious injury to your skin. Apply an insulation barrier ( eg. elastic bandage, hand towel, flannel ) that provides complete coverage between the Intelli-Flo Polar Pad and the skin.
Do not let any part of the Intelli-Flo Polar Pad touch your skin. If a sterile dressing has been applied to the treatment site that does not completely cover the skin under the pad, use an additional insulation barrier.
The Intelli-Flo Polar Pad alone is too cold to be applied directly to the skin. The Intelli-Flo Sterile Polar Dressings are specifically designed to use with the Intelli-flo pads, creating an insulation barrier between the pad and skin.

Richard Stover –
This is an amazing product. My husband used this with the hip pad attachment, for 2 weeks post surgery after his 2nd hip replacement. His only complaint was he didn’t have it for his first hip replacement.

I was expecting much more from this machine. The design seems pretty good and it’s easy to use, but I found it doesn’t deliver reliable cold to the affected area. Sometimes my skin feels very cold after using it, other times it feels barely even cool. It hasn’t made any difference in my recovery, at least nothing that a normal ice pack hasn’t done, and in fact I think the ice packs have been better. It wasn’t worth $350 to me.

This works great for my husband, who had. Knee replacement. I bought it because he is having a second knee replacement and it wa worth purchasing. I use frozen water bottles during the day and ice when he needs it at night .
