Description

The C-Spine Retractor is designed for the McKenzie trained healthcare professional, this device stabilizes the trunk for McKenzie cervical exercises.

By providing counter pressure while performing either retraction or extension exercises the C-Spine Retractor™ enables the patient to reach end range-of-motion at the right level of the C-Spine.  Retraction exercises may help with spinal stenosis, cervical radiculopathy (pain down into neck and arm) symptoms.  This device helps isolate the cervical level that requires the retraction.  Great way to self mobilize the cervical spine.

Exercises using the C-Spine Retractor can be found in the Treat Your Own Neck by Robin McKenzie.

This product is made of lightweight nylon webbing with a rubber non-slip pad. It contains latex. Made in the USA.

Bought this to assist with McKenzie exercises for upper cervical misalignment causing fullness, ear pain, tinnitus and hyperacusis in my left ear. So far treatment with the C-Spine Retractor has helped considerably. The ear pain is gone, the fullness and hyperacusis have been greatly reduced. It also has some effect on the tinnitus but I believe it will take continuous exercising over a long period of time to further reduce this symptom. Use it gently, especially in the beginning. A misalignment that is the result of decades of poor posture can not be corrected in a couple of days. Patience is required.
