Breg Polar Care Wave HIP Cold Therapy & Compression System

The Breg Polar Care Wave cold therapy machine is a motorized unit that combines cold therapy and compression. It is contained within a straightforward, quiet, and compact device featuring a range of anatomic pads, including knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, universal, and back pads.

The Breg Polar Care Wave is intended to treat post-surgical and acute injuries to reduce inflammation, edema, swelling, and pain where cold and compression are indicated.  This machine can deliver continuous compression and cold therapy for a duration of up to 6 -8 hours before requiring the addition of more ice.

The Breg VPulse/Wave Cold Therapy Hip Pad is a high-quality cold compression pad designed for use with the VPulse Cryotherapy and Compression Unit or the Wave Cryotherapy and Compression Unit. Specifically designed for the hip area, this pad can be directly placed over the skin, thanks to its built-in barrier. It delivers consistent cool water and compression to the hip, providing targeted therapy for comfort and recovery. The optional Y-Adapter allows simultaneous use of two pads, enabling the user to address different areas of the body simultaneously.

The other pads can be acquired individually or as part of a comprehensive system. Additionally, there is an option to purchase a Y adaptor accessory, enabling the simultaneous use of two pads.

The system is easily transported from the hospital, physical therapy clinic, or athletic training room to the patient’s home, extending the benefits of cold and compression.

This is the highest-end cold therapy and compression machine on the market in its price category.  A comparable system is Gameready.   Gameready is a great device but nearly 10x the cost.  The Breg Polar Care Wave cold therapy and compression system delivers great value for the clinical benefit.
