Important Usage Note:

  • Barrier Required: Always place a protective barrier (such as a thin cloth or sterile pad) between the pad and skin. Never apply pad directly to bare skin.
  • Do Not Run Dry: Always ensure the unit is filled with water before turning it on. Running the unit dry can damage the pump.
  • Skin Check Reminder: Patients with reduced sensitivity or cognitive limitations should be supervised, and skin checks should be performed every 1–2 hours.

Contraindications:

This system should not be used on individuals with cold hypersensitivity, cryoglobulinemia, Raynaud’s disease, compromised circulation, or impaired cognitive function without supervision. Always consult your healthcare provider before use.

Usage Tips:

  • Use crushed or cubed ice for optimal performance.
  • Small frozen water bottles can be used in place of loose ice.
  • Place the unit on a raised surface to improve flow.

  • Knee replacement recovery (TKR)
  • ACL, MCL, and meniscus rehabilitation
