Indications for Using The UltraSling PRO

• Post-operative rotator cuff repairs
• Post-operative Bankart procedures
• Capsular shifts
• Glenohumeral dislocation/subluxation
• Rotator cuff and other shoulder soft tissue strains/repairs

 DonJoy UltraSling Pro can be adjusted to fit as follows;

Arm Sling Setting	Arm Length Measurement (Inches / cm)
Small/Medium	10.5”-15” (26.7cm – 38.1cm)
Large/XLarge	15+” (38.1+cm)

Measurement:  Measure from your elbow crease to base of the index finger.

Arm Envelope:  The arm envelope is shipped in L/XL configuration.

To adjust arm envelope to the Small/Medium Arm Sling size, unbuckle both quick release buckles. Fold in arm envelope and adhere the hook and loop tabs on inside of envelope.

Right to Left configuration:  The UltraSling PRO is shipped in a right arm injury configuration.  To adjust the shoulder ring to a left arm injury configuration, release the two quick release buckles at front of arm envelope and detach the cushion from the arm envelope.  Apply cushion to left side of body by flipping cushion over so smaller end is pointing to back of left elbow.

Wrap waist belt around waist and attach arm envelope to cushion.  Slip the shoulder ring over the right shoulder.  Place arm in sling and reattach the quick release buckles.

Waist Belt:  The UltraSling PRO fits waist sizes 25”– 63” (63.5cm–160cm).  Adjust waist belt and trim as necessary for proper fit.

Optional pillow:  The UltraSling PRO can be worn without the pillow.  Remove back of waist belt from pillow and adhere y-strap to both sides of the arm sling envelope at the elbow.  For front of the waist belt, remove quick-release buckle from pillow and adhere y-strap to arm sling envelope.  Trim the waist belt as needed

UltraSling Pro ER/IR     (15° OR 30° External Rotation)

All the features of the standard UltraSling PRO, with external rotation. Designed to provide a comfortable fit with the use of a 15- or 30-degree cushion. Fits both right or left arm.

UltraSling Pro AB     (45° OR 60° Abduction)

When greater abduction is necessary, the UltraSling PRO AB provides the necessary abduction in either 45- or 60-degrees of abduction.
