Ease of Application of the MedSpec Wrist Lacer II 10.5″ Wrist and Forearm Support

The lace closure mechanism provides superior ease of application. You only need one free hand to tension and fasten the lace closure. The stockinette sleeve prevents the thumb from catching the laces and provides padding between the laces and the patient’s skin.

Lacer II Closure System

Unique lace closure design provides equal tension across all four laces to creating uniform compression for unparalleled support. The tension is easily adjusted for patients with unusual forearm and wrist circumferences.

Adjustability and Immobilization

Blue palmar pad offers increased support by matching the contour of the palm. The dorsal and palmar aluminum stays are removable to allow bending by medical professionals to create a custom fit. Malleable palmar and dorsal aluminum stays may be bent to the desired degree of flexion or extension.

Optimum Comfort

Pad inside stockinette protects tendons by cushioning distal lace at base of thumb. The polypropylene felt liner and perforated suede allow moisture to evaporate away from the skin thereby enhancing patient compliance.

Size	Measurement Around Wrist (Circumference)
Small	5 ½” – 6 ¼” (14 – 16 cm)
Medium	6 ¼” – 7″ (16 – 18 cm)
Large	7″- 7 ¾” (18 – 20 cm)
X-Large	7 ¾” – 8 ½” (20 – 21.5 cm)

Measure around the wrist (circumference) at ulnar prominence (bump at wrist on on baby finger side).

 

Fitting Instructions

• Detach all Velcro fasteners and slide hand under stockinette liner
• Position palmar stay so it matches the curvature of the palm
• Ensure the laces are on the fabric before tightening Velcro
• Fasten thump strap
• Pull strap/lace closures tight and fasten to wrist support

Care Instructions

• Engage all closure straps before washing
• Machine wash, warm water, gentle cycle, no bleach
• Air dry
