Returned items must be in excellent and/or unused condition for full product credit. Use extra caution when packing for returns to avoid damage. Law labels and identification labels must remain on all products for credit. Credit cannot be issued for products with markings, stickers or torn pages. If the original packaging or instructions are missing or damaged, or if the items are not in ‘like new’ condition, packed in a secondary box, a restocking fee of 25% will be deducted from your refund.

The Orliman Fix Rizart Thumb Splint is designed to help reduce the pain in your thumb while stabilizing the 1st MCP and CMC joint.
The splint is made of breathable velour, which has venting holes on the surface to facilitate the movement of air. The immobilizer system consists of a malleable aluminum splint which can be shaped to the morphology of the patient.
- The bilateral design can be adapted for both the left and right hand.
- The closing system features a velour strap, with hook and loop closure.
- This brace can be used for injuries to the ligaments in the thumb (Skier’s thumb, Gamekeeper’s thumb). It immobilizes the MCP and CMC joint which is a common area of thumb arthritis (CMC/basal joint arthritis).
Recommended Uses for the Orliman Fix Rizart Thumb Splint
- Tendonitis/tenosynovitis
- Painful or swollen joints
- Instability of the first MCP and CMC joint
- Injuries (eg.: Skier’s Thumb, Gamekeeper’s Thumb)
- Irritations of the first MCP and CMC joint
- Immobilization of the first MCP and CMC joint (Thumb arthrosis)

The Orliman Manutec-Fix Rizart (M790) is more of a positional thumb brace. It keeps your thumb in abduction (spread out). Designed for Diagnosis like CMC Osteoarthritis (OA), or Dequervain's Syndrom. The Orliman Manutec-Fix Rizart (M670/M770) is more for the first MCP joint injury like game keepers or skiers thumb.
