DonJoy Iceman Clear3 Cold Therapy System with Universal Pad

The Donjoy IceMan CLEAR 3 cold therapy unit with Universal Pad helps reduce pain and swelling, speeding up rehabilitation and recovery.   The IceMan helps provide extended cold therapy to aid in a variety of indications and protocols as directed by a medical professional.  It utilizes DonJoy’s recirculation system, which helps maintain more consistent and accurate temperatures than other competitive cold therapy units, in a pre-set configuration. The Clear3 with Wrap-On Universal Pad comes in many options including a regular hose or extended hose version.  You can choose between the regular size pad and the XL version!

The DonJoy IceMan CLEAR3 provides a clear advantage with controlled delivery of cold therapy helping patients and medical practitioners to easily manage post-operative pain and swelling.  The IceMan CLEAR3 cold therapy unit helps reduce pain and swelling and speeds up rehabilitation.  It provides extended cold therapy for a variety of indications and protocols as directed by a medical professional.  Utilizing DonJoy’s patented semi-closed loop circulation system, the Iceman Clear3 maintains consistent and accurate temperatures for an average of 4-6 hours before additional ice is required.

The regular hose is 6.5″ in length.  The extended hose is 15″.  Most of the time, the regular hose is sufficient.

How to use the Donjoy Iceman Clear 3

1. Unlock lid by rotating the handle forward.
2. Add ice to fill line inside the device.
3. Add cold water to fill line.
4. With handle in forward position place lid on device. Press lid down while rotating handle up and back to latch closed
5. Connect the IceMan Clear3 hose to the cold pad hose.
6. To ensure a reliable connection, “snap” or “click” hoses together into place so that the fit is tight and snug.
7. To turn device on, insert cord into the connection port on the back of the device and plug the power supply into the wall outlet.

How to clean

1. Unplug the power supply from the electrical outlet.
2. To avoid danger of electrical shock, do not unplug the power supply with wet hands.
3. Disconnect pad from hose.
4. Drain cooler and wipe dry.
5. Drain pad by holding so that the hose is hanging downward.
6. Press in the buttons at the end of the hose and allow all water to drain out of the pad.
7. If cleaning is necessary:  wipe down device and hand wash pads and wraps with mild soap and warm water.
8. Air dry.
