The EVO with Hinge ankle stabilizer consists of the regular EVO ankle support brace with the addition of a removable plastic hinge, which allows for a progressive step-down treatment protocol. The low profile hinge fits easily inside most shoes. The detachable plastic hinge is also self-adjusting and offers enhanced protection. The EVO with Hinge ankle brace is bilateral and fits either the left or right foot.

Med Spec products have a limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of SIX MONTHS from date of purchase.
If you receive a defective product or an incomplete order, CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY prompt action. Damaged or short shipments should be reported within 5 days of receipt. Please keep the box if you are contacting us about a damaged item.
Please send photos of the defect as well as any serial numbers (SN) on the product label to [email protected]. We will communicate with you if the item(s) is/are eligible for replacement. If approved, we will provide you with a return shipping to send back the defective product, you will receive a replacement after the defective product is received.

Returned items must be in excellent and/or unused condition for full product credit. Use extra caution when packing for returns to avoid damage. Law labels and identification labels must remain on all products for credit. Credit cannot be issued for products with markings, stickers or torn pages. If the original packaging or instructions are missing or damaged, or if the items are not in ‘like new’ condition, packed in a secondary box, a restocking fee of 25% will be deducted from your refund.

The EVO Hinge Ankle Stabilizer offers the convenience of a removable plastic hinge. Easily converts to the traditional EVO ankle stabilizer – ASO (ankle stabilizing orthosis), aiding in treatment progression.
The combination of the plastic hinge and the stabilizing strap technology provides great inversion/eversion control. The stabilizing straps function as both a stirrup strap to control the calcaneus and a figure-8 strap to stabilize the ankle and subtalar joints.
This brace provides exceptional ankle support and stability while enabling the natural biomechanics of the ankle joint. Ideal for the treatment of acute and chronic ankle injuries. You can remove the hinges, allowing you to use the brace chronically to reduce the severity and frequency of future ankle injuries
The stirrup straps are lined with a Skinloc material to better capture the calcaneus (heel) to resist inversion or eversion of the ankle. Skinloc also reduces skin irritation to the plantar surface of the foot. The dynamic cuff increases this compression as the stabilizing straps begin to restrict the inversion or eversion of the calcaneus.
Stabilizing straps form a figure-eight crossing over the anterior region of the tibia, fibula, and talus to help stabilize the ankle joint and then crossing under the calcaneus to help stabilize the subtalar joint.
Great for use during sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, and baseball.

Excellent brace! Provides strong, reassuring and comfortable ankle support, particularly when exercising (walking, stationary bike). Use of the brace, in addition to other measures such as exercises and a TENS device, prevents / helps to manage reoccurrence of a chronic ankle problem caused by a sports injury. Usefully, the brace works on both feet – proved to be very useful in a pinch after a fall while on an overseas trip. If appropriate for your requirements, I would strongly recommend this product.
